KNOCK-OUT CUP, VASE AND LEAGUE-CUP RULES 2006-07

2. Entry Fee, Subscription and Deposit. No separate entry fee or subscription shall apply.

3. Officers. The officers of the competitions shall be the officers of the League.

4. Management, Nomination and Election. As per Rule 4 of the League. 

5. Powers of Management. As per Rule 5 of the League. 

6. Annual General Meeting. The Competitions shall be incorporated in the League, with the same Annual General Meeting. 

7. Agreement to be Signed. This will be covered by the form signed as per Rule 7 of the League.

8. Qualification of Players. 

Players shall be qualified to take part in these competitions, provided they are qualified by all aspects of Rule 8 of the League. League Rule 8(g) shall not apply, but a transferred or de-registered player may not take part in any of these Cup Competitions if he has already played in the Competition for his previous Club in that season. 

For the purpose of this Rule, the Vase Competition, shall be the same as the Knock-out Cup Competition. League Rule 8(m) shall not apply, but no player shall take part in a semi-final or final tie of any Cup Competition, unless he has played 2 games for that team in either Cup or League Competitions in the current season. 

League Rule 8(o) shall not apply to Knock-out Cup, Vase or Shield competitions, but any team playing an unregistered or otherwise ineligible player in any of these competitions shall be expelled from the competition and their opponents retained in the competition. 

9. Club Colours, Club Name. As per Rule 9 of the League. In all Cup Finals, when the colours of the competing teams are the same or similar, both teams shall change colours to the satisfaction of the Competition. 

10. Playing Season. Times of Kick-off. Postponements. Substitutes. As per Rule 10 of the League, with the exception of the requirement to play home and away fixtures.

11. Reporting Results. As per Rule 11 of the League. 

12. Determining Outcomes. 
• The Knock-out Cup, Vase and Shield competitions will be on a strict knockout basis and the 1st named teams in each round, except the final, will be the home team. Teams eliminated in the 1st and 2nd rounds of the Knock-out Cup will play in the Vase if this competition is being played, and for every round in all 3 competitions, a result must be obtained on the day. 
• If scores are level in any match, at the end of normal time, extra time of 10 if 11-a-side or 5 if Mini Soccer, minutes each way will be played. If scores are still level after extra-time, a result will be obtained by the taking of penalty kicks as per FIFA Rule. 
• The League Cup will be played with teams divided into groups which will be competed as a League Competition, in accordance with League Rules. The top team(s) in each group may play in semi-finals and finals in accordance with the constitution agreed at the Annual General Meeting of the League. 

13. Referees. As per Rule 13 of the League. 

14. Continuation of Membership. Withdrawal of a team. Each team shall be placed in the appropriate Cup competitions by the League Fixture Secretary, and any team which withdraws from a cup competition shall be dealt with as if it had been eliminated, and the Management Committee may replace it by a team eliminated previously. 

15. Protests and Complaints. As per Rule 15 of the League. 

16. Board of Appeal. As per Rule 16 of the League. 

17. Exclusion of Clubs or Teams. Misconduct, Clubs, Officials, Players. As per Rule 17 of the League.

18. Trophy; Legal Owners, Conditions of Taking Over, Agreement to be Signed. Awards. As per Rule 18 of the League. 

19. Special General Meetings. These may be called in accordance with Rule 19 of the League.

20. Alteration to Rules. As per Rule 20 of the League. 

21. Rules Binding on Clubs. As per Rule 21 of the League.

22. Finance. The competition finance shall be integrated with the League finance, and as such shall be subject to Rule 22 of the League. 

23. Child Protection. As per Rule 23 of the League.
