INFORMATION
PLAYER PATHWAY FOR OVER 16'S
The League is committed to assisting players remain in the game once they outgrow this league - if that is what they want to do. It will work with the adult leagues to try to locate adult teams which would fit with the wishes of our players.
 
NEXT SEASON - UNDER-11 DIVISIONS
Just to confirm that the League is committed to introducing the 9v9 format of the game for under-11 fixtures next season, and for under-12 matches in the following season. Those clubs should now be involved in looking to source appropriate pitches and goals. All clubs with current under-10 teams should have made contact with Allan Girot by now - with a view to assisting where necessary with funding goals and sourcing pitches.
 
RECOMMENDED VIEWING - CHANGES ON THE WAY
As you may be aware, the FA will soon be considering proposals for the future development of the game. These can be seen on the FA website - www.thefa.com. If you choose the 'Leagues' tab, then the 'Your Kids, Your Say' tab, you will find information and a slide presentation; FA Youth Development Proposals - Final recommendations'. This can be downloaded. Suffolk FA is hoping to meet with Nick Levett - driver of the proposals - in February, to discuss.
 
DIRECTORY INFO and OFFICERS CONTACT DETAILS
This is also available - it is now up to date with all notified amendments. Including amends to Stradbroke - Welfare Officer - and Moreton Hall U10 Panthers. Also new secretary/manager of Bulldogs, and change of address at AFC Sudbury.
 
LEAGUE CHARTER STANDARD
Please be aware that the League has applied to begin the process towards League Charter Standard status.
 
Player registrations and Transfers
Please be aware of registration and transfer deadline - 1st March 2012.

Other dates for you diary; League General Meetings; AGM - 25th June - and SGM - 23rd August.  Next meeting of the League Management Committee - 27th February. 

 
REFEREE COURSES
Please see information on referee courses on Suffolk FA website; www.suffolkfa.com  Not only the full training for a referee qualification, but also training for those who referee their club mini-soccer fixtures.
